Can you help me with my music?

How can I join the artist development programme?
Send us an email to info@safomusicgroup.com and we will get back to you within 24 hours. We would book a free initial chat either via zoom or in person at our studios, so we can talk about you and your music to see if we are the right fit for you.
How does the artist development programme work?
You would come to Safo studios at least once a month for a minimum of 4 hours a month to work on your music with one of our music producers. We would work towards the goals we would discuss beforehand.
What else is included in the artist development programme?
We are here to support and help you with your music, so as part of the programme we include:;
- Music industry master classes
- In house professional video and photo shoot.
- Songwriting evenings
- Networking nights
- Regular 1-2-1 music release, PR, social media and music industry guidance
- Live gig opportunities
Is it open to anyone?
Absolutely! If you’re a singer, songwriter or rapper, at the beginning of your journey or have been doing it for years, we can help.
Who would I work with?
At Safo we have a number of professional music producers. You would meet your producer before your first session to make sure you have musical compatibility and feel comfortable with them. It’s really important to us that you have a creative, safe and positive environment.

What is the difference between Safo membership and the Artist development programme?
With Safo membership, you would be able to use one of our studios (including the equipment). It’s perfect for those artists who can produce themselves. If you need a producer, we charge extra £25 an hour for a maximum of 4 hours a month. Unlike the artist development programme we can’t guarantee the same producer every month.
How do I pay for my membership?
Payment is on a monthly basis via direct debit on the 1st of the month.
How much notice do I need to give if I want to end my Membership?
We need 1 months notice if you want to end your membership.

How much is it to produce and record the song?

How much is it to hire one of the recording studios?
Studio hire is £30 per hour.
Can I bring my laptop?
Yes you can, just contact us to make sure we have the right connection to our soundcard
Video & photo shoots
How much is the video and photo shoot?
It really depends on the project and we can only give you a quote once we discuss your ideas and budget.
Do you have an in-house photographer/videographer?

Can I bring the food and drinks in the studio?
When do I pay for my sessions?
All sessions or hire have to be paid 48 hours beforehand via bank transfer. We don’t accept cash.
